Property Management

Midlands Rural Housing does not own or develop homes for rent or sale in its own right.  It provides a variety of development and management services to our partner Housing Associations, who meet local housing needs directly.

We provide the staff to manage over 1,000 homes for the Rural Housing Associations. The properties are either owned by the Rural Housing Associations or are managed by them.  Our clearly defined and documented service standards ensure consistently high levels of service.

The Housing Management Team consists of:

Ed Massey – Housing Services Manager
Mark Boon – Housing Officer Northamptonshire Rural Housing Association
Tracie Smith – Housing Officer Leicestershire and Peak District Rural Housing Association
Philippa Osborne – Housing Officer Warwickshire Rural Housing Association
Rebecca Renshaw – Housing Assistant Peak District Rural Housing Association

The Housing Management Team provides a full generic service in the following core areas:

• Rent and Service Charge Collection
• Void Control and Allocations
• Anti-social Behaviour and Tenancy Enforcement
• Leasehold Management
• Setting and Reviewing Rents and Service Charges
• Resident Participation
• Sales and Marketing
• Policy Development
• Administration of Supporting People
• General advice and assistance on all tenancy matters

Our properties are managed by four different Associations covering Leicestershire; Derbyshire; Northamptonshire and Warwickshire for which we are responsible to each Board of Management. We also manage stock on behalf of other housing associations throughout our regions.
